How To Obtain

Motor Vehicle Registration ("license tabs") can be renewed, in person, at any Anoka County License Center.

Please bring the renewal notice that was mailed to you. If the renewal notice was lost or not received, you must provide the vehicle license plate number and personal identification so our office can access state records and issue the renewal.

Required Identification

Go to the Minnesota Department of Vehicle Services Web site then click on "ID Requirements" for current rules on required identification.

Required Fees

Varies, according to classification and year of vehicle.

Anoka County License Centers can accept payment by cash or check.
