Bunker Prairie Festival is September 8
The
first annual Bunker Prairie Festival and 5K “Bunker Prairie
Stampede” will take place Saturday, September 8, at the Bunker Hills
Activity Center in Andover, MN.
The festival is a free event to celebrate outdoor recreation and
backyard conservation. Beginning at noon and running until 3 p.m.,
the festival offers an arts and crafts tent for children, live music
by the Blue Drifters, a climbing wall, free hayrides, prairie
plantings, and hands-on demonstrations on archery and apple cider
making.
The 5K “Bunker Prairie Stampede” walk/run begins at 11 a.m.
Participants may register for the 5K the day of the event for $20.
All participants receive T-shirts and snacks. A free kid’s fun run
follows the 5K at noon.
The Bunker Hills Activity Center is located at 550 Bunker Lake
