The Anoka County Human Resources Department
recently recognized two student interns for their exemplary service.
Xee Yang has been with the county since January, while Stacey Nguyen
began working at the county in August. Both are seniors at Coon
Rapids High School and have been performing front desk and clerical
duties while learning other job skills that will assist them after
graduation.
Internships in the Human Resources Department are
offered through the county’s Cultural Coordinator’s Office and
emphasize the significance of Anoka County’s unique culture, the
value of community service, teamwork, and dedication. According to
Andre Koen, Anoka County’s Cultural Coordinator, “Hosting student
interns provides many benefits to the department, and in a very real
way, is helping build a stronger future for county government.”
