Commissioner Dick Lang Named Chair of Anoka County Parks Committee
 Anoka
County Commissioner Dick Lang was named chair of the Anoka County
Parks and Recreation Committee at the county board’s organizational
meeting January 8, 2008. In addition, Lang will chair the county’s
Wetlands Review and Fairgrounds Advisory Committees and serve as
liaison to the Anoka County Historical Society.
Lang also was appointed to the county’s Finance and Capital
Improvements, Intergovernmental and Community Relations, Management,
Public Safety, Public Works, Waste Management and Energy, Ag
Preservations Credit Ad Hoc, and Minnesota Extension Committees; and
the Anoka County Regional Railroad Authority. He will serve on
several metro committees including the Metropolitan Area Agency on
Aging Board of Directors; Metropolitan Counties Energy Task Force;
Metropolitan Mosquito Control District Board and Executive Board;
Solid Waste Management Coordinating Board; and the North TH65
Corridor Coalition
