Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah Named Chair of County Human Services
Committee

County Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah was appointed chair of the
county’s Human Services Committee at the county board’s
organizational meeting January 8, 2008.
“Human Services encompasses a wide range of county services that aim
to promote the health and safety of children and families, senior
citizens and vulnerable adults, and the public at large,” Sivarajah
said. “We will continue to take a multi-disciplined approach to
assist clients who have multiple challenges in order to streamline
the process and keep it cost effective and efficient.”
Sivarajah was appointed to several other county committees including
the Children and Family Council Governing Board; Board of Oversight
of Court-Appointed Attorneys; Community Health Advisory, Ag
Preservations Credit Ad Hoc, Minnesota Extension, and Public Works
Committees; and the Workforce Council. She also was named to the
Minnesota Community Health Services Advisory Committee; Metro
Alliance for Healthy Families Governing Board; Metropolitan
Emergency Services Board (MESB), Executive, Radio Cost Allocation,
and Finance Committees; Metropolitan Mosquito Control District
Board; and the I-35W/E Coalition.
