The State Health Insurance Assistance Program offers information,
education, counseling and assistance to seniors, persons with
disabilities, and their family members.
Staff and volunteer counselors are certified by the Minnesota
Board on Aging. Counselors provide free assistance with these items
and more:
- Medicare
- Supplemental Insurance/HMO's
- Long Term Care Insurance
- Prescription Drug Programs
- Medical Assistance
- Medicare Fraud & Abuse
- Medical Bills, Claims and Appeals
Health Insurance Counselors do not provide legal assistance and
do not endorse any specific insurance product.
