There is no single source of information about services for seniors who live in Anoka County. The faith community, nonprofit organizations, federal government and others serve seniors as part of their overall mission.

The Anoka County Human Services Division is the government agency responsible for county-based services to seniors in Anoka County. It is located in the Anoka County Government Center, 2100 3rd Avenue, in downtown Anoka.

Anoka County encourages seniors, concerned family members, neighbors and friends to contact Anoka County Community Social Services for information. Sometimes a phone call is enough to help resolve a problem. At other times, a referral for additional service is required. If needed, referrals can be initiated by the county’s social worker.
