Child & Teen Checkups

Regular health checks keep children healthy. It is important that your children, birth to 21 years of age, have regular complete physical exams, immunizations, and hearing, vision and dental checks. Child and teen checkups are available from your doctor or clinic and some local public health departments.

Medical Assistance eligible children and teens enrolled in a health plan MUST get checkups from providers in their health plan. Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare pay for child and teen checkup services.
