Children's Crisis Services
People Incorporated Riverwind Mental Health Crisis Services provides 24-hour, 7-day a week, mobile mental health crisis response, assessment, and stabilization to children in Anoka County.

The goals of the Children's Crisis Services program are:
- To meet immediate mental health needs
- To help families create a plan to address children’s future mental health needs
The Children's Crisis Services program at Riverwind provides the following:
- Initial Crisis Response
- Crisis intervention
- Conflict de-escalation
- Assistance with “next-step” planning
- Safety evaluation
- Mental health and mental status assessment
- Crisis Stabilization
- Further assessment of mental health issues
- Short-term counseling
- Transition to ongoing support/treatment
- Connection to community resources
