Absentee Voting
Absentee voting is available within the 30 days before each election
to anyone who reasonably expects to be unable to go to the polling place
on election day because of absence from the precinct, illness,
disability, religious discipline or observance, or service as an
election judge. Absentee voting may be done through the mail or in
person.

- Residents of Lino Lakes may
absentee vote at Lino Lakes City Hall, which is located at 600 Town
Center Parkway, Lino Lakes. You may contact the City of Lino Lakes for
additional questions on their location and hours of operation at
651-982-2400.
- All other Anoka County residents may vote by
absentee at Anoka County Elections, 325 E. Main Street, Room W130,
Anoka, MN 55303. We are located closest to the main entrance of the
Anoka County Government Center located at the intersection of 3rd Avenue
N and Jackson Street in downtown Anoka.
- Anoka County Elections
will be open for absentee voting beginning Friday, August 8 for the
state primary and Friday, October 3 for the state general election. We are
open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We also offer
the following extended hours:
- Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Monday, September 8,
2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 29, 2008
from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 8:00 a.m.
to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Monday, November 3, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
