Information About:
Corrugated boxes are strong boxes used to package and protect a variety of materials. Corrugated cardboard is made with three layers of brown kraft paper glued together. The center layer is fluted and gives the corrugated cardboard strength.
Preparation:What is corrugated cardboard recycled into?
Corrugated cardboard is collected, baled, and taken to a paper mill where it is mixed with hot water and turned into pulp. The pulp is screened for contaminants, cleaned, often de-inked and bleached, and then made into new paper products. Corrugated cardboard can be recycled into new corrugated cardboard, boxboard (cereal, cake, chip, and cracker boxes), puzzles, games and items such as tablet backing.
