Food Waste - Composting

Kitchen wastes, such as raw fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds and filters, tea bags, eggshells (rinsed), breads, pastas, and grains, can be composted; also paper towels and napkins.  Items that should not be composted at home include whole eggs, meat, fish, bones, any dairy product, or breads/grains, paper towels/napkins that have meat or dairy products on them, such as butter.
